In this economy we all need to save a few dollars right? By picking up a used or refurbished Nikon you are really adding value to your dollar. How so? These cameras hold the test of time.
A great entry level Nikon DSLR is the D40. I should know I have one myself! These can be found on ebay for under $500 with a nice lens. I picked mine up for $380. Some may shy away from it because its a 6 megapixel camera but its plenty to shoot with and take fantastic photos.
There are also the Nikon D60, D80, and D90. All refurbished Nikon's come with a factory warranty too!
